Why would I use The Big Event instead of email?

  • Emails get lost in the sea of spam that we receive.
  • Emails can be mistaken for spam, or be spam.
  • Emails can contain viruses. The Big Event doesn't place any received information onto your hard drive.
  • Emails get lost or accidentally deleted.
  • Emails can be ignored when we're concentrating.
  • Emails won't notify you when an event that was set up ahead of time is about to occur without additional action on your part and even more action if the time or date changes.
  • When conditions change, you will need to send additional emails with updates. People may stop reading the additional emails thinking they have the latest updates.

Why not use Twitter?

Why not just put info on a personal web site or Facebook or MySpace?

Why not just use email forwarding to my phone?
